| 13 Jan 2010 |
The latest motor to benefit from an improved collector is the 13" 144V.

| NEW 11" COLLECTOR |
| 17 Dec 2009 |
The collector used for all 11" models has been further improved.
The classical dove-tail lamella construction has been changed to allow higher rpm while the plastic material has been upgraded too. Also featured are two metal rings to help keep the lamellas together.
This has resulted in a collector that is superior in terms of mechanical strength and temperature endurance. |

| KOSTOV 11" 250V IS NOW AVAILABLE FOR ORDERING |
| 14 Oct 2009 |
This new product brings EV motors to a whole new level.
It is the first in our Kostov portfolio to use series/parallel switching of the field windings (see FAQ section).
The switching makes it the most versatile motor ever allowing it to cover the 144-250V range at optimal rpm despite voltage.
It is the perfect companion to Zilla1K HV with recommended battery pack voltage of 288V to take account of voltage sag.
We are currently researching the possibility to use Zilla's autoshift function (option A) to switch between modes. |
